Share Where You Are Now

being content with sharing what you can offer today

As a constant perfectionist, I struggle to be content with any flaws in my playing. This summer has been an incredible opportunity to perform on a weekly basis, and learn to be content with what I have to offer in the present. I know that I am working unbelievably hard to hone my craft, and I need to have more self-compassion and trust in my hard work(Noa Kageyama). Thanks to my family and friends for helping learn to share what I have to offer here and now.

Tomorrow I'm giving a recital in Raleigh, and for the first time I am not feeling a lot of anxiety leading up to it. Just a few weeks ago, I was pretty nervous, but for now I am enjoying this peace in offering what I can give this weekend. I know that I am a good musician, that has something to offer now. I am so grateful for the opportunities that the Lord has provided, and I am also grateful to those who have hired me to play this summer and previously. I feel incredibly humbled. Let's go make some music

Time to Keep Exploring,
